I just started playing a Poker Plex and haven't really played enough to be sure, but the play at their $100 Tables seems incredibly passive to someone used to playing at Party and especially UB. It didn't escape my attention that $100 NL is their smallest game.
It got me thinking about whether it might be a good idea to move from site to site targetting the lowest stake NL game available.
Think about it this way.
The reason that the Party $25's were always huge fish tanks compared to UB or PS was because it was their lowest level.
If you wanted to play real money NL Ring games and were at Party that is where you started. New players whose play was so poor that they should have got it out of their system on micro-stake tables didn't have the option...
Is that why we places like UB/PS are 'harder' (ie more aggressive) sites for $25, $50 and $100 players...
Am I right in thinking GC has $10 NL tables as the lowest? That might be another good stop-off on the newbie learning ladder
