I enter total hands played and total money won. Then I have the spreadsheet calculate $$/hr and BBs/100 hands.

I have seperate formulas for 2 table play and 3 table play. I know I'll make more $$ /hr playing 3 tables but I want to know what my BB/100 hands is at 2 tables and 3 tables seperately to see if my win rate is dropping off by playing more tables.

I did that for quite a while. My win rate did drop off by playing 3 tables for a while so I went back to 2 tables. Im now able to play 3 tables at that same win rate as 2 tables, so I always play 3 now.

Someday I'll throw in 1 4th table and do the same thing.

Ice... 2 probably dumb questions... 1. How do you know how many hands you've played? Do they list that somewhere??? 2. How do you calculate BB/100? Is there a difference between NL100, NL 200, and NL 50?

Thanks...MVP

Most sites have a stat page that tells you how many hands youve played and a bunch of other stats.

The other way is to use pokertracker and it will log everything for you.

I think you play at GamingClub right? Well, the hand history feature there was down for a while but its working again now so pokertracker will work there. But if you dont have it, you can estimate your hands at 60 hands per hour per table.

Its pretty close.

BB/100 hands......

The reason people state their win rate this way is that they can compare their win rate at $100 NL to yours at $200NL. You may be winning more money because youre playing higher stakes, even though their win rate is higher than yours.

If your playing $100NL with .50/$1 blinds and you win $150 in 1000 hands then this is the formula:

1000/100= 10
You won 150 BBs /10=15
Your rate is 15BBs/100 hands.

If youre using pokertracker this will be listed as 7.5BB/100 hands. Thats why you might see me list a win rate as 8.4PTBB/100 hands which is a true 16.8BB/100 hands. Pokertracker was made for limit play so when playing NL, the win rate is double what it shows.
