Pokerstars and PNCBank

Ok, so I live in the stone age and get my cashouts by check and snail mail. It works.

BUT, I recently got a check from stars which is drawn on PNCBank. Now I usually just deposit it into my bank (not PNC) acct w/ no problems. Today I just happened to be passing a PNCBank (no, it didnt hurt) and decided what the heck, I'll just stop in and cash it.

THEY CHARGE 3$ TO CASH A CHECK DRAWN ON THEIR BANK IF YOU ARE NOT A CUSTOMER!!!!

Thats CRAPPY! Since when can a bank charge to cash a check drawn on their bank?
oh well
I do not think, therefore I am not.

Gaming Club by check uses Nations Bank or what I think is now Bank of America, it is dependant on the location if I have get charged a fee. It appears some places are more for following corporate policy than others. Don't give up hope is what I'm saying you may find a bank that just cashes the check.
