The more the merrier, as always.

If you haven't posted to these threads before, please consider doing it this time. Doesn't matter who you are or what level you play. I used to post my results from the $2 buy-in games at Ultimate Bet!

Here's mine for this week. Short week, just Friday night and yesterday and today as I was out of town most of the week.

Back on the $10 tables at GC. Goal: Make $50 on these tables then up to the $20 tables.

Weekly total: 7 hours, + $33.91. $4.84 / hr, or 48.4 BB/hr. 4 tabling, so probably 25 BB/100 or so. Great to be back on the plus side, even though I'm still making too many dumb calls. Tonight I found myself drawing dead twice in the space of 5 minutes. Yuck. Luckily I only got there once.

Ok, I'll chime in this time.

Not much play recently.

4 hours 4 tabling $25 PLO on Empire = +62.90

$100 first deposit bonus

+$162.90 - over $40 an hour. Not too bad.

I will be getting back into playing this week as I will be working off the Empire reload bonus and will try to get a few more sessions in.

My total profits from last week were OK; however, the frustrating part was that I made 80% of my poker profits in the first 2 days and the rest of the week I was either down or barely above even. I have already equaled last week profits in the first three days this week. I guess when you are winning big, a PTBB/100 of 6 is disappointing...

Yes, I do use GT+. When I first started out, I used your autorate rules; however, as my play has progressed and I started to do my own player analyses I modified your rules slightly. I do not want to hijack this thread discussing autorate rules although I would surely love to discuss it further with you in the PT forum. I really wish PT would allow more player categories to be added.

In short, I combined both fish (because a fish is a fish is a fish to me) and I removed the vanilla player. This freed up two ratings. The first is the loser (how creative, hehe). The loser goes to showdown frequently and wins infrequently. This category is similar to calling stations although slightly different. I find many different players from all types of the previous rules fall into this category. These are the players that I absolutely love to have at my table as you can take them to showdown with as little as TPTK and win.

The second category I added is the weak tight player. This player is the exact opposite of the loser. They go to showdown infrequently and win a large % of their showdowns. These players you only want to take to showdown with a very strong hand and are easily bluffed off of their position.

The reason I added these two categories are that I found that no matter what their previous auto rate rule, the losers were losing at the overwhelming fastest rate. The weak tight players were also winning at a fairly high rate.

Many times I just look at the players auto rating to see how they play. A great majority of the time you can predict their actions using only this information. Other times I do look at their stats. It depends on the situation.

Anyways, maybe I'll start a new thread in the PT forum to discuss my modified auto rate rules along with analyses. I'd love to hear your thoughts....
