I don't play shorthanded but...

on full ring i'm shooting for 6-10PTBBs per/100.

I think you need to make some more adjustments, and get it up a little bit more.

Also 6 handed has much higher varience...so I might opt to wait till 10-12 grand to move up limits. Nothing wrong with being a little catious with your bankroll.

I'm not sure about Party...but every other site i've played does has a lot more talented players on 2/4, then 1/2. Another good reason to wait a little bit.

I play full ring and I'm intending to move up to $200 from $100 tables when my roll hits $8000.

I moved up to $100 at $4000.. after winning at the $50NL tables at the rate of 12PTBB/100

My rate on the $100 NL tables is about 9PTBB (+ bonuses).

This might be conservative but to 3-4 table $200 NL successfully I think you would want your $100NL play to show either a double digit BB/100 and $4000+ or a
5-10PTBB/100 and $8000.

I think you are cutting both the 'beating the level below' and the overall bankroll requirement a bit fine. This is OK if you have the discipline and resilience to go up, lose a small amount and drop back down to start again, but personally I prefer to maintain my confidence with successful moves up..

After all - someone 3-4 tabling and reallybeating the $200 NL tables is approaching levels of income that would tempt most folks.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I did make some pretty big changes to my game about 3/4 of the way through those 27k hands that I have in PT so I'm thinking my game is a little more solid now than those stats reflect. Being a college student I have all the time in the world to recoup if things went bad, so I did decide to move up; with the intention of dropping back down if I lost 5 buy ins and so far things are looking good. I had a good start and built up a cushion of $1600 ($9600 BR) even after taking some pretty big beats. I just want to get more hands in now so I can see how Im really doing. If you have any thoughts let me know, thanks again.
