Hello All -

Been reading the posts and articles for a few months now. Even bought some BTP gear the other day.

Just a brief history - I have been playing poker online for a couple of years. Starting out with micro-limits, moving my way up to 2/4. I now play NL at the $100 or $200 buy in level.

My play is very tight-aggressive (perhaps too tight - is there such a thing???), and that works for me. I generally play about 20% of the flops. I started using PT a while ago. Not sure how to analyze the data, but I plan on reading the PT articles here.

When up against agressive players, I am content to just wait for a good hand, get agressive myself, and play back at them. When ahead for the session, I start to play too many hands, and get more agressive, so that is a leak I need to work on.

Hope to learn a lot!

Welcome, Excersion is a PT genius so you have come to the right place. As for your VPIP 20% is not to tight some of the good players here have a VPIP of less than 18%. I play the $50 and $100 at party and my VPIP is very similar to yours.

i'm probably one of the tightest players on this board (along with ice) and my VPIP is about 12-13% so 20% is loose to me. I would try to get looser but I usually do very well like this so until they stop paying me off, I will keep at it.
