AQs, bad position, table of stations... river play

Thoughts on the turn also...Standard?

Alright I know people are going to say I should've raised PF. However this is Tribecca. Nobody folds to a raise PF once their in, most call 2 cold without even batting an eye, and hardly anyone folds to a flop bet either. Yes, it's probably the best hand, but I need to hit a flop and I'm a mental midget when it comes to letting go of hands I take the lead in PF especially OOP. That's why I chose not to raise here. If I didn't have almost the whole table involved in the hand I probably would've.

I figured I probably had the best hand on the turn, and for anyone who's drawing I'm making them pay the max here. Good play or bad?

Villian is the same station from the other hand I posted. And the donkey in the SB is along the same lines as far as a player. I had a feeling he didn't have the A and I've seen him bet at boards he's 4 flushed on.

Sorry pok, I dont like this hand one bit. I dont mind the lack of a PFR as much as I hate you not raising the flop. You can trap field for a bet and you pass up opp. If you cant bet when you have the best hand, when should u?

On river I am sure i end up paying off also.

Well my thinking here was this.

We're 5 handed and with 2 spades out there there's probably a good chance someone is drawing to a flush. If someone IS 4 flushed they're not letting go of the hand before the river anyway. I chose to let a card come off and hope it was a blank (non spade). If a spade hit I had a feeling I was dead anyway. Raising the flop with 2 cards to come with 10 SB will jack it up to 7.5 BB after the turn hits. Form there there's nothing I can really do to try and cut down their odds or make them pay all that much. I know if I were betting a FD here and got raised on the flop, the first thing I'm saying is "he's probably got an A, maybe 2 pair here".

What I've done is basically killed my chance to CR the turn. I probably won't get a CR off again, then it'll be pretty easy for anyone to just take a free card. I can lead the turn from there and let anyone drawing to a flush get 8.5:1 minimum on their money. Or since my blank did come I can now make them pay the maximum to draw to the final card as opposed to people in later positions be getting better than 10:1 on their money after I bet and get a caller. Most of the players on this site hardly ever fold on the flop for a bet, if they dump a hand it's on the turn.

Had the pot been a little smaller or even if 1 or 2 people managed to find a way to fold on the flop I probably would've CR the flop and led the turn. By the time the action got back to me on the flop there was 10 SB in the pot, raising there isn't folding anyone and I created a big pot with a pair against 5 opponents on an already ugly board.

I wan't really interested in trapping people for a bet here. My hand is good but not great against 5 players. It's quite possible that I might only be at best a 50% favorite at this point. My focus was more geared towards making draws pay the max with 1 card to come. People are playing all kinds of janky cards here, and I don't want to increase their odds to draw with 2 to come because I might be able to easily get outdrawn here. If a blank comes on the turn I could make them pay the max at that point.

At least that was what was going through my head here.
