bad streak

Postby gutsh0t » Sat May 13, 2006 7:35 pm

not sure if this is in the right section of the forum but...

the last couple of days have been frustrating...on the average i've lost 2 buy-ins every day for the last 3 days. During this time period i've had some winning sessions, but the losing sessions have far outweighed these.. and after reading ice-man's post, its so true and its a bitch that in limit, you are at the mercy of the cards.

i decided to take a break for a day or two, and i was just wondering what you guys do during a break from playing due to a a bad streak of variance?

do you guys move down? if so, when do you move down? do you stay at the current level even if your BR is kinda low? (i.e my situation is my bank roll is at $430 and i played $1/$2 limit)

mods, please move if you feel this is in wrong section

Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.
