Blind battles- pullin the trigger on the mizors

Postby MecosKing » Thu Mar 02, 2006 9:29 pm

I have been notiing lately in the short handed games anyway, that the leading 'steal' ' tactic in the SB/BB confrontation is limping in with any 2, then auto betting any flop and hoping the BB folds. I will usually fold UI, but one tactic i have been using alot is to pull the trigger on high card flops when the mizor limps, mainly because if he had the cards he was representing, he'd have raised preflop. This little gem of a hand came up earlier, and it was kinda tite. I rarely make stone cold bluffs, except in these situations.

You picked up a gutterball on the river. Easy value bet. Your 2s and 3s are prolly live too. You = favorite over random hand. Donk.

That shocked me for a second...there is a Stuck4Life that plays low limit...took me a minute to see the difference.
