Couple Hands for discussion.

Couple hands from my recent session. Just looking for a little feedback, and maybe some argument. Contrary to my previous post, I'm really not that rusty. I have quickly identified my biggest leak though, PF starting reqs. I think the urge to gambool it up after not playing for almost 6 months (And I haven't even put much thought into the game) will pass ( I hope), but it is causing me to leak a little. That said, after my first 1k hands over the last two nights, I'm only Vpip'ing at 16.6%.

Ok hand number 1.

Table is loose, about half the players calling fishies, and the other half maniacs. There are a couple good (as in, when they come to life, I give them a lot more respect).

UTG+2: 73/44/2.4 (Maniac)
MP1: 73/0/.2 (Fish)
CO: 83/5/.4 (fish)
Button: 17/12/2.9 (TAG)
BB: 66/25/1.2 (maniac)

Ok, now that the hand is setup, here's how it went down:

Ultimate Bet 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with [2s], [2c].
2 folds, UTG+2 raises, MP1 calls, Hero calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Button 3-bets, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, Hero calls, CO calls.

Ok, when UTG raised, I didn't think much of it, and with the fishie coming along, and I'm counting on at least one more fish or maniac to join in, i figured this low pair was good enough to try a flop and get paid. But the raise by the button was not good, that put him on JJ+ and AJs+. Then with everybody else joining in, I really couldn't fold.

Flop: (18.40 SB) [2d], [Qc], [8c] (6 players)
BB checks, UTG+2 checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, CO calls, Button raises, BB folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, Hero 3-bets, CO calls, Button caps, Hero calls, CO calls.

BINGO!!! And theres a flush draw, which is mixed news. Easier to get outdrawn on, but it may force a few players to keep calling to see the river. With this pot, I want to get as much into the middle as I can now, and hopefully 'protect' against the flush. Now with the Button's raise, I pretty much have him on JJ+, but with a Q on the board, I'm not worried yet. I three bet to punish the CO chasing his flush, and to sort out the Button's hand. His cap means QQ+ now.

Turn: (15.20 BB) [5s] (3 players)
Hero bets, CO calls, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, CO calls, Button caps, Hero calls, CO calls.

Brick. This is a great card. His raise though, Is he playing KK+ or did he hit his set? I 3 bet to find the truth. If he had 3 bet instead me, I think I would have called, because there is no point in raising for info then. Well his cap tells me I'm fucked, and I can't handle the truth.

River: (27.20 BB) [7d] (3 players)
Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets, Hero calls, CO folds.

'nother brick. Shit I'm not happy now. So I check/call for value. And Yup, the CO missed his flush.

Final Pot: 29.20 BB
Main Pot: 29.20 BB, between Button and Hero. > Pot won by Button (29.20 BB).

Results in white below:
Button has Qd Qh (three of a kind, queens).
Hero has 2s 2c (three of a kind, twos).
Outcome: Button wins 29.20 BB.

So It comes down to these two Questions:

Was my PF logic bad, or was my use of implied odds and the probable actions of the other players correct?

Was Flop and on play too aggressive, or did it have to fall that way?

Don't cold call here PF, I think you already know that, on the button with a bunch of limpers/cold callers already in is one thing but not with just an EP raiser and one caller.

I think the rest of the hand is fine, I may actually bet/call the river against a non-taggish player, against a TAG though your river line is fine.
