A hand for your viewing pleasure

Postby MecosKing » Mon Apr 18, 2005 3:49 am

I guess theres not a hell of a lot to analyze about this hand. I suppose there is a lesson to be learned here -
(1) Dont give up four bets on the turn and the river with a 10high flush, because you JUST MIGHT be beaten;
(2) Always find a table with a good old fashioned maniac on it.

In a shorthanded game, its more unlikely that you are beaten by a bigger flush. I think the greatest lesson is don't hold onto your Tp 6 kicker when the action is out of control even if you are almost all in. You are throwing your money away there much more often.

Yeah I missed all of the action of that game. I sat in with you a few hands but old Rob had decided to leave the scene so I didn't stay long. I ran into another maniac just like that a few days ago I think the name was janna123 or perhaps it was TangRocks, don't remember for sure.

There are just a shitload of shorthanded 1020 games. I was thinking of playing full ring game 1020 this morning and logged on and there was only 1 game and about 100 short handed games going.
