But I'm talking about whether you should use those odds to justify playing hands like big suited cards and middle suited connectors - these are the types of hands that when they hit they do every well against multiple people, and ideally when they don't you dump them on the flop (except for in my case when I inevitablely flop an OESFD and have to call down to the river on a draw that never hits).

Ant, how many times do I need to tell you I suck at math? :oops:

Maybe if I WAS good enough at it I'd be able to calculate the how profitable certain hands might be from the SB. I'm sure there's a fine line between making calls with certain hands and bleeding away chips trying to make hands with them.

Maybe I have the opposite leak then - I tend to fold those hands from the SB (and sometimes the BB) to a raise. Maybe I'm not calling ENOUGH with hands like this.

Ok, now I'm consfused. Can someone PLEASE give me a straight answer as to why I suck so much as this game that EVERYONE else seems to beat??
