Remember 6 max involves a fair amount of knowing you opponents, while it applies in a FR game as well. But short handed you're going to me involved in more hands with the same players more often than at a full table. So they'll be times where you're playing the situation more often. So you may occasionally do things for the benefit of future hands.

What's your fold to steal attempt from the SB and BB?
What's your steal atttempt number?

You're off because you only have to put HALF of a bet in to complete, not a full bet. That's why I used the 2/4 exampled so 1/2 SB = $1. Your right, there are 3.5 SB in the pot, but you only need to put 1/2 a bet in to complete. So your odds are 3.5 : .5, or 7:1.

If you were calling that bet from the button, then you would be getting 3.5 : 1 odds, right? But from the SB you only have to put half as much in to complete, so your odds are doubled. Unless MY math is way off.
