Can you just post a screen shot instead? Much easier on the eyes.

Some steal issues, but I think your primary problem is that you're not aggressive enough. Your PFR is a tad too low and your aggression on all streets could stand to be increased by 1. You are also folding too many winners (or chasing too much).

Overman-

Much easier on the eyes. Thanks for that.

Kuso is right. Aggression is good. Start with reading Tiburon's blog on aggression and read Piers' sitcky on blind defense. You need to employ both. Your numbers are pretty bad on both fronts.

There are two ways to increase aggression. First, fold instead of call. Second, raise instead of call. From your stats, at a glance, it looks like you need more raising than folding. When you find yourself wanting to call, strongly consider raising instead. Take the flop for example. Were you the pre-flop aggressor? If so, calling shows weakness. Raise, or, more infrequently, fold. Do you have a strong draw? Raise. Did you catch a part of the flop? Raise. You want to have control of the pot. There are two ways to win a hand. The first, you have the best hand at showdown. The second, your opposition gives up. Give them a chance to fold. You do that by betting and raising.

I was in your spot four months ago as far as aggression numbers. Then I found BTP, and read every post in the limit hold'em forum. These guys know their stuff. My game is not recognizable compared to just a short time ago, thanks to BTP.

As an added bonus, playing aggressive poker is simply more fun. Try dropping down to 1/2, or even .5/1, for a few thousand hands. Losing money while you learn to play an aggressive style is not fun, so I recommend dropping down. Try to employ the aggressive strategies we recommend. Post some of your trouble hands here (use the hand converter link on the left side of the text entry box where you post.) If you maintain discipline, I think that you will be pleasantly surprised with your results.

Thanks so much for all the advice, every bit helps. Im def. gonna practice with aggression at 1/2 until I get in about 10k hands. What do you think about starting a new database for this? Some notes about my 2/4 hands. I went back and reviewed some of my biggest losers like Tiburon said and am gonna post the ones I have question about play. As far as bad beats go, I think it may be safe to say it is only exacerbating my low aggression and weak play.

Most loosing hand QQ
Times-9
Win%- 11
Net: -111
BB/100 -3.08

How bout AA in my short 2/4 trial you ask?
its my 4 most loosing hand
Times- 8
win% 50
Net - 33
BB/100 -1.03

well, thats just me whining, but all that BS hasn’t dissuaded me from playing and rarely makes me tilty. Actually loosing with QQ the last few times has really made me laugh a bit because hey, that poker.

No use in posting the bad beats really, but at a glace, they do account for a large chunk of my net loss as they happened in monster pots (10-20BB). However, I will sift through all the losers at 2/4 and post the ones I am unsure about how I shoulda played them.

Thanks a million to everyone for all the help, it is encouraging!!
