This is a classic SH hand right here. I cant tell if the guy was just going dumb animal/overaggressive, or if he really made a good play. As it were he won by sucking out against both me AND the caller, butone could argue his play was good nonetheless.

I usually interpret a lead as opposed to a CR as a weak hand, or a draw, and so i figure if hes got a godawful shitty pair like a 2 or a 3 or even a weak 9,, im gonna turn the screws into him, because im not gonna just laydown my OC's without a fight to a weak lead. Anyway i want the SB gone to increase my chances, and I figure I can make the BB muck anything but TP, which i think hed have played differently if he had)

I mean shit, im representing TT or at least A9 or hell, SOMETHING! Argh. I MUCK, dont even peel one since i dont even know if me second overcard is any good)

So, my question is, did this guy make a genius play, or a dumb animal jamitup gamble gamble play, that we so often see in SH?

I mean, it wasnt THAT hard to put the BB on a crap hand, and i guess if he put ME on not an overpair but just overcards, and figured i wasnt willing to go all the way with em,, then he could try to use my raise to pickup the pot from BOTH of us, thinkin the BB wouldnt call the 2 bets with a crappy pair, and id either muck immediately, or peel one and miss, then muck to a turn bet)

Or, did he just make a -EV play by open-3betting, out of position, over the top of my flop raise, and get freekin lucky that (a) I mucked and (b) He caught his ace against the calling station?

Whats everyone think? These types of playes always leave me WONDERING....
