Longest Break Even Run

Postby GrizRodder » Sat May 28, 2005 7:36 am

What's the longest run you have had with just breaking even? Have done more research on bankrolls and found that it's possible for a good player to only break even after 1400 hours of play, although not likely. How many hands is that? And we are talking internet play, and probably one table at a time. Maybe 50,000-60,000 hands?

I've found that most numbers like that are from live play which would only be 25-30 hands an hour so that would be 35000-42000 hands. If they want to know what your results are after that time, I couldn't answer since I don't have that many hands and I'm up for the hands I have, but this could just be the upswing of this kind of run. I did have a run of about a month where I was up big and gave a good chunk of that back when I was playing a lot of hours online, 4 tables. So I guess my biggest run of even poker was about a month.

As Mike Caro said, :"You are always even, money won or lost is in the past"

I posted a few weeks back about how long could you run badly. If you are interested in my thoughts check that post out.
