good thread advice! (about my thoughts during the hand)

About hand 4 you wondered why im raising and what it accomplishes. This is for me a raise or a fold (a call is the worst alternative). I raise because I´m in position. If i have the best hand im making it more expensive for them to draw out on me. If I don´t have the best hand (lets say they have an ace with a weak kicker) then they will check to me on the turn (because they fear i have an ace with better kicker)... now i can either take a free card or bet again and take a free showdown instead. Either way im saving money. Instead of paying one small bet and two big bets calling down, Im paying two small bets and one big! Now if they do have an ace with lets say top kicker, chances are they will reraise flop (and i can fold) or they will call the flop and bet out turn (and i can fold) or call the flop and check/raise the turn. Eiter way i can fold knowing that they have me beat for sure!

Often when someone donkbets the flop against pre raiser they have a semigood hand and want information. If they really have a strong hand they would probably check/raise instead. There´s a strong possibility that BB has an ace with a weak kicker. (thats usually the case!) But there is also a small chance that he has a seven or a pocket pair 66,88,99 maybe TT (anything better he would probably reraise pre flop!) Im not so worried about the UTG+1 player, he has just called on the flop after limping pre flop... he probably doesnt have an ace or he would (or at least should) raise the flop before me. Also to pot is pretty big making it more tempting to see a showdown. If there wasn´t a raise pre flop i would fold this hand. Now (with the bigger pot) i don´t know!!!

Hand 4: Sorry Mc, but when you have 4 to a flop on a raised board pre-flop you have to know any Ace kills your jacks. A raise here will only serve to get you up against the people that have you beat. If you want to play (and after the flop went bet, call, call you prob shouldnt) then i would simply call here. You are getting 13.5:1 to one odds here on a pretty clean 2 outer which is 22.5-1. Since the bet is doubling next round you may, just may (may!) have implied odds to peel here, but you need to realize you are behind and drawing slim. Rasing kills your implied odds. You want the action to go bet call call again on the turn if you hit.

I fold without a thought on this flop
