Preflop: I fold. Would want at least one more person in pot.

Flop: Definitely bet out while its cheap to see what others think of their hand. Especially the preflop raiser.

Turn and River: Fine
I do not think, therefore I am not.

I think the preflop call is fine. Granted, top pair isn't exactly what you're looking to flop, but ya gotta work with what ya got, right? In hindsight, betting looks like a better option, but I must admit that I'd generally go with the checkraise as well. I think it's important to try and define your hand so that you can get away on the turn if it looks like you're beaten (i.e. if you're 3-bet). Otherwise, your turn and river play look fine to me.

I would have went for CR as well. Why didn't you bet the river? Their calls on the turn were weak and that 5 certainly should not have helped them improve over your hand.

Yeah piers pretty much hit it on the head. Sometimes when you have been losing you extend your streak by becoming gunshy and not value betting enough. The preflop raiser had A9 and the other caller had [Ks][5s].

Striker, I called because I'm getting 7:1 and all of my opponents will play junk and go to the river way too often. The VP$IP of the table was running around 40%.
