Nothing you can do about those hands. I might have capped the river on the first one, depending on what I thought of MP2, but other than that would have played it the same.

I think I would have only called the bet on the river in the first hand. When MP2 raises the turn I put him on a poorly played 2 pair (with KJ leading the field). When the river pairs the J I would be leery of the bigger full house because you raised the flop, you three bet the turn and this guy STILL leads into you on the river. I think you could have saved 2.00 here.

The second hand is tougher but I think you can fold here even with the large pot. You had 4 callers on this ragged board on the turn with two flush draws available as well as a straight possibilities. Now the flush gets there and a 4 straight is out with one guy leading into the field and another guy calling, you're not going to like folding your AA here but you are beat. You only have to win here about 5% of the time to make the call correct but in this situation I don't think you can cover the 5% although I wouldn't fault you much for overcalling. Tough break.

In most games I'd agree about not calling, but Party $.50/1 is a very special place (witness the guy with the straight who just calls the turn).
