Hand #3
EP limps, there's a poster to my left, I limp in the hijack seat with [Kd] [Jd], poster checks, BTN calls, SB completes and BB checks. Six to a flop of

Flop: [Td] [Qd] [3d] ($12)
Checks to me and I bet, only the BTN calls.

Turn: [As]
I bet, BTN calls

River: [Th]
Value bet?

Absolutely you need to value bet. Button would have likely raised here on the turn wth AdTx or QT which really is the only hand that beats you on the river. I guess it is possible he is slowplaying the flopped nut flush but "you can't fear cinch hands" as sklansky always says.
He likely has Ad with a random card and now will feel compelled you "keep you honest" since he turned top pair.

i dont even get the point of this post? If you cant valbet a monster flush into a single opponent , whose only been calling your bets the whole time, then, i ask you, when CAN you valbet? The other option here is to go for a checkraise, if thats what the question is. Id say prob not because even if he has an A, hes prol not calin a CR with anything less than a T, which i somewhat doubt he has, unless hes got either a Q to go with it, or maybe an [Ad] (which youd think hed raise turn with 2 pair). Of course if he does have the boat and you CR, hes threebettin, then your losin an extra. So, id say the fact that (a) hes likely not to bet if you check, (b) even if he bets, hes mucking alot of hands to a CR, and (c) in the unfortunate event that he has boated up on you, your getting threebet and losing an extra bet. Soooooooooooooooooo...id valbet.

LOL! I didn't say I was struggling with any of these decisions; I said I was posting them to add to the value-bet discussion. There are two reasons why even if the decision is pretty automatic it's still a good idea to discuss it. 1) not everyone who posts on here has a lot of experience, and they may see these as tough decisions, so they benefit from seeing the reasoning as to why you should go ahead and bet on the end. 2) Even when you look at the situation and say "that's an easy v-bet, you benefit by going through the reasoning yourself. I think that's what you say at the end of your post, right?

All three of these hands involve the potential monster under the bed, which you simply cannot fear and must bet out, since the mizors love to play any kind of crap and will still pay you off with crappola on the end. This hand has various FH that become possible on the river along with the possible nutflush on the flop. I bet, he called with [Jc] [Tc].

Yeah, I probably bet here, but it's I don't agree that it's easier than Hand 1 where opponent showed no aggression. Here is where a read would have been really helpful. That Ace on the turn really helps your decision here because now he's going to call with [Ad] most likely as well. If the turn were different I may actually check and give him a chance to bluff on the end with hands he'd fold to a bet depending on what I knew about him.
