Was this as bad of a fold as I think it was?

Postby antneye » Wed Dec 20, 2006 8:41 pm

Villain was 13.21/11.32/17 over 50 hands. But in my defense my train pulled into the station and I totally lost track of villains stats when I played this hand. In other words, I did not realize how aggro he was until after I folded.

Go ahead and rip me if you must.

Yeah, regardless of his aggression a 13% VPIP is a pretty narrow range so we can't really put him at maniac status.

So he 3 bet and you capped PF, which would probably give HIM the indication of a big pair or possibly a big A from us. Now on the flop he raises us which generally would give me the impression that he's not overly concernred with the A himself. So it's possible he has something like AK, AQ, AA here or even TT makes sense as well.

I don't think it's a bad fold, although I don't know if I can fold on the flop though to be honest. I would probably see if he fires again on the turn or was looking for a free card in case he was on a draw here.
