What up mizors?

Well, since Piers is away, and not playing, i feel like there is a lack of 'educational posting' here in the ol limit section- you know the ones im talking about, like

'The anatomy of calling a raise with J2o from the BB and flopping 222 against AA' and such.

And posting some decent wins lately has led me to the fallacious assumption that my rabid ramblings, previously being, well, nothing but rabid ramblings, have, by virtue of my winning, been elevated to 'irrefutable truth' status.

Weak leads- we all know what they are. You raise with AK and get one caller and the flop comes J36 and you get bet into. Everyones been there and its gay as hell. More and more though, i am picking th
One major change ive made is that i tend to give no respect to weak leads, especially on A boards, when i was the PF raiser. And indeed, in general in a HU pot, if someones got a hand against a raiser that they are wliling to show down, my guess is that the vast majority of players will go for a CR, since they know that the PF raiser, regardless of his hand, is gonna at least put in a courtesy flop bet, especially if hes got position and is checked to.

On the other hand, when i dont respect a CR, i tend to get burned, unless i have a big hand like TP/TK or better.

So my basic feeling here is that trying to pickoff a weak lead generally is a good idea, unless you know the player to be the type that leads with the goods only--which is what i usually do, to see if I can get the raiser to go LAG on me- but in the majority of cases, i find that when mizors lead into the PF raiser, they are on a move.

At least they have been lately - so maybe that just means im runnin good.
