Here is a hand from $2-$5 Live Limit. The Villan (SB) is a CS donk he could have anything.

5 Handed I get [Qs] UTG and raise to $4 and get 2 callers LP and SB.

flop: [9c][5d] $15 (3 Players)

SB checks, I bet $2, LP folds, SB calls $2

turn: $19 (2 Players)

SB bets $5, I raise $10, SB calls $5

river:[2s] $39

SB checks, I check

RESULTS IN WHITE:

SB has Q4o and drags


I did not really know whatto think about his lead into me on the turn? I did not see how it could have helped him. BUt donks like to lead out when they get help? So I raised him to see where he was and he just called and checked to me. So I decided to take my free showdown. I only would have bet again if the board paired on I hit my Ace. U like?

What is a good standard play to use when a blank hits on fourth street and the Villan bets into you all of a sudden (head up)? I mean if it were multi way I would be VERY apt to raise to knock out players behind me and fold to a 3-bet on the above particular hand. What do you guys do in that situation? Just call and re-evaluate on river?

What about if you are OOP and the Villan raises when heads uo after a blank hits?

Villain donking the turn is probably someone who improved as you properly read. The turn raise for a free showdown should only be used IMHO when their is some fold equity associated with the play and/or have the outs to improve to a muilti/bet hand on river (i.e one you would raise).

I am usually confused by the turn donkbet and would call down with this hand.

Now in the instance where I am leading into an ordinary villain and he c/r's me on turn I usually give him credit for what he is repping. I rarely see the bluff turn c/r. My decision to continue is pretty much a pot odds calculation at that point.

All of this needs to be taken with a grain of salt depending on reads. If I was playing with any of us I may 3-bet your turn bluff c/r with total air myself, but thats not really relevant to a general q i guess.
