300 BB is usually considered the norm for FR.

If you're planning onplaying SH I would recommend you set 500 BB to be about the minimum range. SH has bigger swings than FR it's just the nature of the game. Also depending on your playing style it can have an effect on it as well. If you're playing on PP you're obviously outside the US and aren't limited to what sites you can play.

Since you got kicked off the beginner tables on Party, you can consider going back to FR . You can stay where you're at and try to play your way out of it (not usually recommended unless you don't mind adding more $ should you need it). Or you can consider looking at some other sites that have lower limit tables you can play comfortably.

Also without knoing how you play it's hard to really determine. If you're a maniac style player or a tight player might also be part of the swing you're having. Some people who move from FR to SH don't make the correct adjustment. Or they over adjust thinking they can play more junk and open their game up too much.

If you have PT or something similar you might want to consider posting some hands and or stats and see if you have any noticeable bog leaks.

At party the rake is pretty brutal at .5/1 IRRC, but the players are equally as retarded.

I think you probably just need to be a little more patient, value bet and don't do anything creative. Learn to take some passive lines in WA/WB situations against aggro opponents and you should be able to beat the games.
