Postby p914 » Sun May 22, 2005 11:49 am

Help me find my leaks! The stats below are for $25 NL games at Party. I am 4-tabling. I am working hard on my game - but I know I have a long way to go to reach my goal of 4-tabling at the $100 tables. I currently have ~$950.00 in my bankoll.

1) Where are my leaks?
2) Am I ready to move up to the $50 tables?

Thanks in advance!

Very very nice stats. I would move up NOW !!

You can only tell so much from stats but I like eveything I see.

I like your $VIP% and I especially like the fact that your individual position $VIP% shows you know to play less hands as you are closer and closer to UTG

One suggestion: Your Won $WSF should be closer to 33$. I suggest that you read my "stealing small pots" article

stealing-small-pots-page76.html

There wont be much difference in the play at $50NL and your stats prove your ready. Check back in another 10K hands at $50NL and start posting some hands.

Quick question...how'd you copy your PT information like that to the forum I'd like to post for a checkup, but can't figure out how to copy from PT.

I have difficulty reading my PT stats.
I like what is I see above but maybe ( ice ) you could explain more what it is you like and why?

How about the check-raise i always seem to be worried it is too low.

VIP% is great..notice how the % is incrementally higher as he gets closer to the button
preflop raise % is great

His WSF% is a little low which goes along with his flop aggresion being a little low. He needs to bet more flops when nobody else wants the pot.

His WSD% is a bit low which means he may be calling a bit too much as opposed to raising and folding to a reraise.

His results are excellent so these are all just small tweaks. Overall the stats look good to me. I dont pay much attention to check raise %. Check raising is overrated in NL.

In my latest database, it's actually 30%, which I also think is way too high. I'd rather have it somewhere around 20%. I must have been playing awfully loose over these 10k hands, actually (which probably is the reason why I was doing so badly).

What criteria (pf) leads to these stats?

Postby snok » Mon May 30, 2005 4:23 pm

Hi p914!

I’m impressed and wish to learn from your play.

What raising/limping/calling criteria do you use preflop to arrive at your great stats?
It seems you treat D+2 the same as D+1 (ca 21%); do you consider these as “Late pos” along with the button?
Also the D+5 seems to be between “Early pos” and “mid pos” – great!

And what kind of hands do you play in the blinds?

Cheerio,
Snok
