Loose semi-aggressive table, I've won a couple of big pots with big hands. I have a big stack and cover everyone. Karminal is a shortstack with $5, the rest have around $20.

In the CO with two limpers, I get one of my favorite hands (used to be favorite but now I think 76s has taken that spot). The SB that raises doesn't have that high raising standards (pfr: 9+).

I think his bet is weak. If he has an over-pair, or AJ, I think he would be trying to protect it with a full pot bet. I'm not too happy about the flush draw since he could put me on that, I am happy about the back-door flush draw though.

He has ~$18 left when I push.


Too aggressive? I figure that the fold equity is huge with my big stack and the fact that I have only shown down strong hands for a while. If I get called I have 6 nut outs, 2 non-nut outs, back-door draw and possibly runner-runner trips/two-pair to save me.

As long as you realize, if he does call, you are beat and are comfortable.... it is a fine play.

Ice a couple of months ago had a discussion going on the pointlessness of image in most games. I think it is especially true down low, while we may be paying mind to the tendencies of our opponents, most people can't see past their two cards. If you are doing this to foster some sort meta-game play, it will likely to be not successful in gaining the results you would like.

Actually I go by the rule "Try to make +EV plays and the advertising will take care of itself". Basically I would never bluff just to advertise, I only bluff if I think it has a +EV chance of succeeding (or if I am tilted/stupid..). I am well aware that most opponents on these levels don't pay much attention. The advertising value is just a bonus.
