I get in in CO and limp after 5 players, the button, SB and BB come along

flop $4.50 (9 handed)

Alll check to me, I check, button bets $2.40, EP calls all fold to me, I raise $12, button calls, and EP folds

turn $28.50 (2 Players)

I push, u like??

I was really hoping for a fold and to take it down right here. My equity was much higher on the flop and thus if I get called now I have outs to win but my kicker may not be high enough.

I checked the draw on the flop as I would think it is better to check strong drawsin an unraised pot on the flop and bet weaker ones because I would hate for a weaker draw to fold. If I had a weaker (non nut FD w/ 2nd pair) I may bet hoping to take down. I would have raised ANY flop bet ahead of me and Iwas hoping he came back over me on the flop as I woould have pushed.

I thought he may just been betting position and would give it up to a C/R or he may have a weak Ace than me ( I have notes he plays A-rag). When he called the C/R I put him on AT,A9 because A4 would have RR for sure. When the 7 came on the turn I was not happy to see it as he could have as A7 fits in. But if i check I get bet out of the pot so I pushed and he folded and showed A8o. I butchered this hand and I should have just bet the flop, and it would have mad eit mucho easier.
