OK I am trying to remember this hand since I didn't write it all down at the time. So I may be slightly off on the betting but I think it went like this.

Did I play this wrong? It worked out for me but I still feel I missplayed this hand

$25 buy in .10/.25 NL at UB
I am in the BB with $40+/-, I easily have both my opponents covered, and I grab AK off

UTG raises .75 I beleive. UTG+1 calls, and everyone folds to me. I just smooth call being in the big blind and all.

Flop comes K44 rainbow. I bet it out for $3.50
both opponents call.
Turn card is a 7 I beleive. Again I bet the pot.

UTG raises all in and UTG+1 calls (all in for him)

I have no idea what UTG has. I figured him for KQ initially becuase of the not so big bet, but he could have been playing AA. I wasn't sure. UTG+1 I don't figure for a 4, he called in far too early of a possition for that. I think I am ahead here, but really am not sure. Finally I call, river card is a blank.

Thoughts? How would you have played this?

The $25 tables can be shocking with these kind of hands.

yeah I really feel like I messed this hand up and called it down when I shouldn't have.

I think part of the reason I called was I had been at the table for a while and the guy raising was raising with KJ, KQ, QJ, K10 under the gun a lot for that amount. Therefore I put him on big connectors, or big cards but no pairs.

would you normally raise AK in the big blind after a pre-flop raise? I feel like i am more inclined to jsut call that hand but then I got into this messy situation where had I re-raised pre-flop I would have felt a lot more comfortbale after the flop, at least I think i would have

I think you played it fine. I mightve check raised the flop, but your line is fine. Im not folding this hand at any point.

I think you played it fine....Don't put them on a 4 with the preflop action, unless they had a mid pocket and hung around til the turn calling a pot bet on the flop w/ 77 (unlikely)......

Chances are you are ahead, and more often than not, an all-in move in that situation doesn't have the nuts (at these level IME)

I make that call (albeit i'd be curious with a call ahead of me there) but i still make it...
