You are much more likely to drag 2 or 3 players to the river with you with a set in limit poker. Obviously this means you will lose more to straights and flushes, but when you win with sets they are frequently big pots for the limit. Especially if someone with TP/TK or two pair gets in a raising war with you trying to drive out draws.

Im sure a set is still one of the biggest money makers in limit, but I dont think you can win 100BBs with a set in limit.
