Call or raise this? $100NL 6 max (4h)

Postby JimmyJet » Wed Apr 16, 2008 2:14 am

So obv the choice here is to call his river bet or raise? And if we do put in a raise here we're calling a shove, amirite?

Villian was 32/11/2 FWIW. In a previous hand I raised [Ah] [Th] UTG the short stacked SB came along as did this villian in the BB. The flop came down [6s] [Ts] [7c] and the shortie shoved for less than a PSB, villian min raised, I thought about raising but called and we checked a bricked turn and river down and villian showed up with [Ad] [Jh]

How big a nit does the opponent have to be before you don't want to get the second nuts AI? The answer is certainly less than 32/11/2. You're probably going to split often, but make a big raise and let him worry about what he calls with.

The turn checks good imo: you have some showdown value and picked up some more outs, but still can't stand a check-raise.
