I Can No Longer Complain About Bad Beats

Postby T-Rod » Mon Jul 11, 2005 10:28 pm

Well after some real bad luck lately, here's a nice change of pace. We both had about 130

Party Poker (6 max, 5 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [Jd], [Td].
1 fold, BB checks.

Flop: [Tc], [Ts], [6d] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, Poor Guy bets $3 into a $4 pot. Button folds, BB folds. Hero Calls.

Turn: [5s] (2 players)
Hero checks. Poor Guy bets $6 into a $10 pot. Hero calls (hey I'm ahead and there's no real draws here). Poor Guy is a bit laggy so i'm milking it. I call

River: [Js] (2 players)
Well now that's my money card. I'm hoping he was gunning for the flush as now its out there or he can't let go of his ten. I'm all in for $120.

Poor Guy thinks long about it, says he has to call, and calls making the pot 261

Final Pot:

Results in white below:
Hero has Jd Td (full house, tens full of jacks).
Poor Guy has 6h 6s (full house, sixes full of tens).
Outcome:

Hand converter

How do you use the hand converter? It only posts my results and no pot numbers. I've tried all kinds of combinations.

Cause it generally blows donkey balls... it works occasionally, when the moon is in the right orbit, and Saturn has passed it's 3rd star... Other than that, this is as good as it gets...

BTW... I have NO sympathy for people at Party anymore... I've been assraped so many times that I figure they should send Shana Hiatt to my house to do my laundry naked...

Acctualy he's a bit of a morron. on the flop you have 4 outs, on the turn you have 7. he should have deffended his hand some time b/4 the river.

I think poor guy played it OK>
He maybe should have bet the pot on the turn rather than $6 but he was trapping after all. He wanted the flush draws to have a chance to catch up.

Funny thing is that I posted this exact same hand not to long ago, in fact the flop was identical I had 66 and he had JT and he hit the T on the river. I think I bet it a bit differently but he pushed the river and I said the same exact thing. I even told him I am pretty sure he has JT but couldn't fold. Very strange (it was on UB though so pretty sure it wasn't you, but talk about deja vue)
