Did I play this bad or just get unlucky or both?

UTG+2 is new to the table, his 3rd hand I believe. The BB was slightly loose and raised pf about 4%. His min raise from the BB after all those limpers either meant huge moron with a big hand or a drawing hand that he wanted more money in the pot.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.5 BB (10 handed)

MP2 ($85.2)
MP3 ($70.6)
CO ($75.3)
Button ($49.9)
SB ($38.91)
BB ($45.25)
UTG ($42)
Hero ($53.35)
UTG+2 ($48.5)
MP1 ($178.15)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with [Ad], [Qs].
UTG calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, UTG+2 calls $0.50, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.50, 3 folds, SB completes, BB raises to $1, UTG calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, UTG+2 calls $0.50, MP2 calls $0.50, SB calls $0.50.

Flop: ($6) [As], [6h], [Qh] (6 players)
SB checks, BB bets $4, UTG folds, Hero raises to $14, UTG+2 calls $14, MP2 folds, SB folds, BB calls $10.

Turn: ($48) [Js] (3 players)
BB bets $5, Hero raises to $38.35 (All-In), UTG+2 calls $33.50 (All-In), BB folds.

River: ($124.85) [7h] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $124.85

Results in white below:
Hero has Ad Qs (two pair, aces and queens).
UTG+2 has 9h Th (flush, queen high).
Outcome: UTG+2 wins $120. Hero wins $4.84.

Who plays this hand differently and why? Didn't I raise enough on the flop to push out the drawers. He instacalled which I put on a draw. Should I have thought set and slowed down? What do I do on the turn? I just felt I was ahead but vunerable.

Since there are a billion people in the pot and plenty money to win right there, and you are playing AQ in very early position, I like to re-raise the min-raising sub-human to about $6 preflop. Then if he really does have a huge hand he'll come back over you. If he has some medium pocket pair he'll just call. If he's fishy enough, he'll come back over the top of you with something you're actually beating, like AJ or KQ. At least then you know where you're at, plus you'll be heads up in position with him.

As I'm sure you realize, trying to beat 5 other hands is a recipe for variance.
