Did I play this ok vs a LAG?

Postby LuparFiend » Mon Feb 11, 2008 2:30 pm

This guy was really LAGging it up at this table. His stats were 32/28 with aggression #s of 2.8/7.2/5.3/1.4, but it seemed like he was running even looser than that. I had never seen him before, so I can't really classify him as a regular on Full Tilt (I only had about 500 hands on him for the past 6 weeks).

Did I play this ok? What do you guys do against LAGs like this? If I just wait for TT+ and AQ+ to play back at him, he'll see me playing super tight and know to fold against any agression by me, right?

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed)

Hero ($200)
CO ($200)
Button ($155.85)
SB ($140.95)
BB ($189.75)
UTG ($223.40)

Preflop: Hero is MP with [9h], [Jh].
UTG raises to $7, Hero calls $7, 3 folds.

Flop: ($17) [3s], [9s], [2c] (3 players)
UTG bets $12, Hero calls $12.

Turn: ($41) [Js] (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $28, UTG raises to $104, Hero raises to $209 (All-In), UTG calls $77.

River: ($403) [Qh] (3 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $431

Results in white below:
UTG has Td Ks (straight, king high).
Hero has 9h Jh (two pair, jacks and nines).
CO doesn't show.
Outcome: UTG wins $431.
