I don't think this is an awful hand at all. Raising KQo in MP isn't the BEST idea in the world, but in the long run it makes little difference at all. That's a great flop for your hand after a raise as well. What is your opponent calling you with though? How can he be drawing? Rainbow board, low straight...doesn't add up. You have to consider that he has some kind of queen or a real monster. If your opponent is really bad and a calling station, which appears to be the case, I really like a small value bet on the river as a WORSE Q or even two pair will call. You are only beat by AQ, 55, 33, AA and KK...most of which he didn't play at all like those hands. Therefore, I don't think a value bet is that awful, but you need to consider folding to a reraise...depending on your stack size?
The problems with this hand are rooted in your having NO read, or at least giving up no read, of your opponent. If he is a complete loon, I don't think this bet on the end is so awful as he is likely calling with a worse hand regardless. Regardless, your bet should have been smaller. Also, I agree with Ice and others that if you really believed this opponent to be drawing, you should have checked and called a bet. Snapping off the bluff is a helluva lot more profitable than putting in your money as the loser. However, if this opponent is solid and has been watching you, you really need to consider why he is calling you. Does he know that you're aggressive and will bet all the way for him? IS he drawing?
Not an awful play overall (but certainly not a good one), but there are some glaring errors related to hand reading, value betting and knowing your opponents...this is recoverable and I think those are areas of your game you should look closely at.
