I usually fold here... there are people that I will make this call against but they are few and far between, most of them I are short stacks that I will push all in at instead of call. I suspect he has AA-JJ more so than a hand that you dominate. This is a time that I don't like to send good money in after bad and just cut my losses. If he made this play with AQ AJ more power to him.

I agree, he's probably got a pocket pair that has you beat, and if not, it's a coinflip... If he's raising that much, he's gonna push eventually, and i don't wanna get my money in unless I'm a pretty decent favorite... Plus, you're only gonna hit an A or K like 1/3 of the time, and the others, it's a fold...

Well, I really have to go to sleep when I am tired. I also should not let the size of my stack on one table affect the decisions I make on another. In this case, I was up $35 on another table so I figured playing for my stack here would still give me a winning night. Dumb. I was also just really curious about what kind of hand he'd make that kind of move with. I didn't think he'd show if I folded.

Using the logic from Harrington's book, I tried to put him on a percentaged possibility of hands. I didn't think he'd make that move with aces, and had partially ruled out KK because I had one of them. That kinda left it to JJ or QQ. I don't think he makes this move with AQ or AJ at all. So I'd say 70% QQ or JJ, 10% KK, 10% AA and 10% Ax.

I called the $7+ reraise and saw a flop of J75 rainbow. I fully expected him to push in regardless of the flop and he did. I hit the Time button and tanked for a minute.

Well, if he has JJ then I am toast. QQ and I have 6 outs with 2 to come, discounting any backdoor str8 draw. I have $22 left to call a pot of $37, or almost 2:1. I am a dog to damn near anything, but it's late and I'm tired. And I'm still curious.

Just as I type 'screw it, I am pretty sure you got me but what the hell' and hit call I see he typed 'I have AQ'. Now I know I'm toast, since he almost definitely does not have AQ.

K hits on the turn tho, so I get a brief glimmer of hope, but alas, he shows KK.

Not sure why he played it this way, but I did hang around long enough to put a note on him about it. I think a little payback is in order, lol.

JD.. going by your hand possibilities... you lose to KK 10% of the time, lose to AA 10% of the time, coinflip against QQ or JJ 70% of the time, and have Ax dominated 10% of the time... That just seems like crap odds to me...
