5/10, AJ fold against a hilarious blogger.

Postby Xaston » Wed Sep 19, 2007 1:13 pm

Villain in this hand is Ryan Daut. He has probably the second funniest poker blog out there. He won the PCA. He has lots of money and is good at the pokers. We have played a TINY bit together, but not much. My impression is that he is just good solid tight etc. Not very tricky or anything.

Question 1, Agree with the fold?

Question 2, Can we actually even muck this on the turn?

Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.

I think river fold is ok here, it's unlikely that he bluffs here.
No we can't fold the turn.

I guess I lead more flops than most people do (or see more people lead more flops), I think the turn is fine and would call the river a lot - but given the read of a non-tricky player then folding seems prudent.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
