Regarding the limp/raise debate, I think I could do either, both preflop and less so on the flop.
Recently (last week or so) I've started limping after 2 or 3 limpers with speculative hands in late position. Particularly on such a loose passive site like Pacific as you're allowed to. No-one squeezes or isolates here. However if this had been folded to me I'm raising. I used to raise these all the time but after some coaching and talks with Roy I've found it more profitable and educational to see a multiway flop.
Red you know better than most how to play the 50's and 100's at Pacific but my thinking is that I just do not get enough folds preflop when raising 2 or 3 limpers up with hands like

or small pocket pairs. There is almost no fold equity post flop in these games, and hands like suited connectors and small pairs do better multiway post flop, so why would I want to get into a situation when I raise the nuts out of a small pair, end up HU, and continuation betting a loose limp caller when he will seldom fold any pair or bad draw?
Several ways to skin a cat obv.
Anyway, I folded the hand and thought about it for like a day afterwards thinking I prolly shoulda called, UTG folded too and mr shovey shovey took it down.
