Villian checks. Guy says we should not cb this. Thoughts?

Checking looks ok to me, hits his range pretty incredibly hard.

Also I feel you can still take it away from a pp on a later street.

What hands would you CR in villians position? Thats the part that i'm not sure about.

Probably a lot. I think most people bet this flop so I'd CR with any set/two pair (though there most likely wouldn't be any two pairs in my range). I'd all c/c with JT/9T/QT if I had them so they're not great to bet against either.
