Why, check. And fold to a big bet. I see two possible hands here: loose player: A5. Tight player: 55.

Personally, I would hate my hand after his reraise and muck it.

Unless I have a strong read on the player, I fold after he re-raises my check-raise on the flop. That usually means set or two pair. What other hand would he do that with? I hope not AJ or AT.

I agree with Kenny, I like the flop reraise but I'd make it big enough to make you decision clear either way (if he calls you're done because he MUST have it).

I also have no problem folding to his reraise. I try to make it habit to fight weakness, not strength. He's showing you some pretty good strength.

As you played it, I'd check the turn and pray as you are probably behind. If he checks, you might be ahead.

So after I checked the turn, he bet $25. Now, if he has AQ or a set, don't you think he would bet less to induce a call? He knows I like my hand, probably putting me on a blind two pair type hand or a weak ace. I really thought he had AK, and I really felt the re-raise was an information raise. So I check-raised all-in on the turn, and he folded, pretty quick. I don't think this was overly aggressive either, particularly because another line would be to re-raise preflop and bet out the flop more straightforwardly, although he would have position and I would have probably lost the hand.
