KK hand.... Am I weak tight or my opponents idiots?

Postby Jeffm351 » Wed Apr 20, 2005 7:04 pm

No reads on opponents both 1/2 stacks and I have them covered

Im delt [Kc] [Ks] in LP and theres 4 limpers to me I raise to 5BBs and get 2 callers

FLOP
[Qh] [Qd] [Jd]

EP bets 1BB MP raises to 5BB I think for as long as I can and fold figureing at least 1 must have flopped trips. EP calls.

TURN
[8s]

EP bets 8BB and MP calls

RIVER
[2c]

EP all in MP calls

EP shows [Jh] [8s] and takes the pot 45 BBs w/ 2 pair QQs over JJs MP mucked his hand.

Am I getting away from that too quik? Iv been working on letting go of high PPS in situations like this where its probable someone has trips but then I see this hand and get REAL annoyed which makes it harder to let go next time.

THat is a tight fold. Personally where I play they just love hitting the other pair on a paired flop. Not sure why, but people think this is just a killer hand. I can't fault your fold there. There are probably better spots to take money from these fish.

Those guys are horrible! Good fold. Just sit and wait till you have AQ on that same board and clean them out.

ugh..the BB numbers are confusing me!! lol just use real money figures. Anyway, from what I can tell you raised $10 and had 2 callers. Pot is about $30...first guy bet $2 and the second guy bet $10.

I would def. make a raise and fight for this pot. $10 into a $30 could mean anything. I'd probably just raise it to my standard flop bet (pot size) $30 and then try to check it down to the river.

Its a small bet and raise, but Im still not going to fight over this pot with a paired board and multiple draws.

I agree w/ Ice... a $10 bet could mean nothing, or it could mean that he has a Q and doesn't know dick about how to bet to maximize his earnings (like about 90% of the people I play against online...)... I'd still fold...

BTW, I agree w/ Kenny... some of us aren't smart enough, or read these posts too late at night, to try to multiply in my head to see who bet what... Please, for the love of God, use real $ :D
