Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

Presumably, the 200 person gets the 400+ for free right?

Wait do the coaches have to be from BTP?
Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

The NL200 player pays $65/hr for the coaching. Like I said though the numbers are flexible if someone comes up with a fairer system through maths or whatever. I basically just made those up to what sounded reasonable in my head.

It sounds like the players put $$ into a pot, and the top player collects the pot...

I think it would be easier to have a 'main coach' at every 3 levels or so. Rather than 1 400nl coach being responsible for 5 players who each need a different level of coaching. i.e the 10nl player would probably be confused alot and require more assistance ..and the 200nl player would probably get pissed at the main coach having to waste time explaining stupid trivial stuff to the 10nl player.

Maybe a 100nl coach being responsible for 50nl and less. and the 400nl coach being responsible for 100nl and 200nl. And then maybe a 5000nl coach being responsible for 400nl thru 2000nl.

I dunno i just think having a 400nl player coach 10nl thru 200nl wouldnt be very sufficient.

edit- ok well i realize now that u mean each player coaches the player below him...not in one big group.

i like the idea. let me think about it.
