Is 4.5 buy ins per 800 or so hands a high or low win rate?

450BB/800 = 56.25BB/100 = (according to Iceman) a higher winrate than will be sustainable.

This is assuming buy-in = 100 x BB, of course.

It's $10NL, i always go buy in max amount, and i've earned $45-$50ish in 800 hands. Granted its really low limits and full of fish

That is a very nice win rate but the sample size is WAY too small to draw any long term conclusions from it. From the looks of it, you are doing nice but to start to see a trend, you would need at least 10,000 hands IMO and that may be small in size.

I dont keep track this way, but after doing the calculations, 1 buy in every 500 hands is VERY good.

So yes youre off to a great start, but dont expect to keep up any where near that rate even in micro stakes. Its just not possible.
