Preflop: Hero is SB with [Qs], [Ad].
1 fold, MP calls $0.50, 1 fold, Button calls $0.50, Hero raises to $3, BB calls $2.50, MP folds, Button calls $2.50.

Flop: ($9.50) [Ah], [7d], [6h] (3 players)
Hero bets $7, BB raises to $60.1, Button folds, Hero ...

Would this be correct for his range if we assume he was an unknown

It's hard to say what his range here is with no read. He could pretty much have anything. I would fold TPGK to a massive overbet until I had a better read. If he has you beat here he is letting you get away easily with this massive overbet. If he is donk pushing, you'll get his money eventually.

Could he be putting it in with just a FD? Sure.

However, more times than not against an unknown you are toast here. BB called your pfr so he could have AK or even a set here.

Fold.

Fold TPGK to this type of action from an unknown.

Thank you, will know for next time. As I was thinking about calling/folding, I was thinking of calling and making a note for next time reguardless. He had AK

what kind of villain is he?

it can be anything from A6 to AA so here is where the info on villain comes in good...
