Multitable and Reading Players

Postby T-Rod » Thu Jul 21, 2005 9:05 am

I play almost exclusively 6-max so I don't multitable very much.

Most BTPrs seem to multitable. How do you get a good read on what the other players are doing if you mt? Are you watching one table more closely than the rest? Just rely on PT?

Thanks

I've been multitabling (4 tables) full ring for long enough and did it gradually enough that I could probably do more tables. I rely on PT but since i'm a tight player, I still have a good amount of down time that I can watch hands play out and still get decent reads on people and make notes on hands. I'm not sure how this could be down with 6-max as the action is quicker and plays are more read dependent.

i quad table and rely on PT and GT+

In general, i look out for LAG's, and make a point of watching them more than some of the other players in hands.

This is, of course, far easier at a full table than 6-max. I don't multi-table when i'm playing short handed games.
