i push all-in on the turn. Your opponent could hold any number of hands, many which you beat. In fact...he may even just hold a jack for a straight draw. If he has a set then good for him. I think you are winning.

To start wiith your play preflop is fine. Raising with KQ from the blinds is a bad idea, you are out of postion and KQ off is a marginal starting hand in NL. I do think you played this hand a littte soft, but I dont think folding ins that bad an option. I agree with you that I dont tihnk he has a set on the flop as he probably would have raised the flop. I dont see what you were afraid of since you didnt think he has 7's. My guess here is he is on a draw something like a gutshot and a flush draw, or even a weaker 2 pair maybe Q10. For that queen to have helped him he would have had to call your flop bet with a gut shot. I probably would have raised the turn and tried to push him off his draw if that is in fact what he has.

Don't think the guy had j9 suited, double belly buster?

Huge raise off a legit pot sized bet is suspect.....could have been a very good lay, or you were a little tight...without a good read, i think it is a good move...2pr is a vulnerable hand...

I'm suprised that no one has guessed K10 yet. that was my initial read.

from the read you gave, i don't think he's limping with KK. 77 is a possibility, as is 9j or AJ (second is less likely of course). still, i think you're ahead.

However, i wouldn't push. Maybe i'm a little more weak than some of these guys, but i'm leaning towards calling and check calling any bet on the river barring a one-card straight.
