KK OOP ($20FR)

$20FR (Cake Poker)

I have $22 (BB)
Villan $35 HJ

All folds, Villan raises $2, I call $2 with [Kh][Kd]

flop [As][8h][2h] $4.30 (2 Players)

I check, Villan Checks

turn [6h] $4.30

I bet $3, Villan Calls $3

river [7d] $10.30

I check, Villan bets $2.50, I call

Was this an ok like? I did not RR because I was OOP, it was heads up already and I hate playing in a bloated pot with KK or QQ and an Ace flops. After he checked the flop, I put him on something like TT-QQ. After he called my turn bet I was pretty much done with my hand and was only gonna call if he priced me in. I figured this call was +EV as I am good in this scenario 1 in 5.

If there were a few limpers prior to him raising OR a caller after his raise I would have made it about $6 -$8 PF as I would want it heads up OR take it down as is.

RESULTS in WHITE BELOW

He had AhJh for the nut flush drawand TP with nut FD on flop

Well the reason I did not want to RR PF is that there is GOOD chance he has a AK,AQ,AJ. If I RR and NO A comes on the flop he is gonna fold to my CB EVERYTIME. But if I just call I will get his CB after I make a C/R on the flop. Plus, if a Q,K,or J comes he has TP/TK and after I make a C/R he is VERY liklley to lose his stack because I just called PF. If I RR PF and a J or Q hits he still may feel like his AQ or AJ is no goot.

Yeah....definite reraise preflop.......you have the best hand(most probably) and if you think he has Ax and he wants to chase an A you gotta make him pay for it. And i'd rather win the pot pre-flop or have him fold to my CB than me flat calling and then an A comes and not know where you are in the hand, which kinda looks like what happened seeing you checked flop/called the river.....yeah the odds were good . Given the hand though i would lead at that on the flop and when he calls or raises and the turn is heart, u can be pretty sure he has an A or hit the flush (or in this case both) and be done with hand.
