My thought process was:
a) 6/1/0 nits only play pocket pairs
b) 6/1/0 nits only bet with big hands (ie sets)
c) 6/1/0 nits will always be ahead of me if I play a big pot here
d) I can't fold sets so I try to get to a cheap showdown even though I think he has 55.

those stats are retarded, how many hands? is that the 85? ill assume it is..

well as always 85 hands is no judge, i often play stats like that over a 100 hand range. this guy will not be as tight as you think he is

I do play some retard nits over large samples.. the short stack nits play 6/5 type range and uber tight full stackers play 8/0.7 type range.. (all of these players are loosing)

But you have a set, and he is betting into you and well YOU HAVE A SET, lets raise the turn and go broke!

So u should use this logic.. If you have no data on him assume he is a donkey. he could easy have AJ or over pair combo enough times to make up for the times he does have the over set.

If 85 is the number of hands I am ok with your postflop play, folding river is a bit too much.

About preflop I am not sure, as it is FR could be ok.

no one is 6/1. that means only playing AK,AQ, AA-TT and only raising AA/KK. you therefore assume he is pretty tight but also that your 85 hands are misleading, and you treat him as a more generic 15/11 or whatever, and go from there.
