Played well?

Postby MVPSPORTS » Sun Jun 05, 2005 3:32 pm

Not sure if I played this right... There seemed to be a lot of draws out there, and I wanted it heads up... I was pretty sure PF raiser had either a K or a Q, and wasn't giving up the hand to easily... Didn't know he was gonna push, but what the hell...

Sorry, but the converter wasn't working right...

Well you got all of his money in when you were a big favorite...can't do better then that.

I just meant by calling and pushing the turn, I might have kept the third man in the hand... Which, by the turn and river, I probably didn't want anyway...

eh...I wouldn't worry about it. You made enough on the hand. Don't push your luck :)

If you didn't raise..who knows..the guy could have called with AJ or KJ and busted ya.

I think you gotta make the raise on that flop bet. Just smooth calling gives that guy odds to draw to way too many hands that can beat you. Make a big enough bet to isolate the hand and push out any draws, just as you did.

As you said, there were a lot of drawing hands. I think you did great having that hand one on one and as Kenny said, you pushed when were big favorite so, I dont think that hand can get much better.

Nice pot!!!

You played this perfectly, there are to many draws out there, but just calling you are gaining a possible $5 from one of the draws and might be losing yourself the pot maybe 1 in 4 times. Be happy with taking one guys stack
