Preflop raising question ( & stats check )

Postby Jossnaz » Tue Sep 18, 2007 11:32 am

Hi

My main questions concern raising preflop and stealing. I think i'm not raising+stealing enough, but don't know which hands to add where. I'm already raising suited and suited 1 gapped connectors in LP. Add offsuited connectors at passiv tables? Or isn't it necessary to raise so many hands at all?

I've taken a stab at 50nl and as you can see... a net loss of -450$ within 3500 hands made me come back down to my 25nl. I'm not complaining, i've played pocket aces, kings and AKo for a loss of 100$ alone.
I'll probably get in another 10K hands at this level and then take a stab again
Til then any comments are welcomed

what I can filter here is you are running 18/11 after 22K hands.

First of all those are good winning numbers at lower stakes up to 200 I think. If I have someone with those numbers at my table I wont give him much action.

I have some trouble reading these stats cause I don't use this program.
i must be reading went to show down 5.9% wrong

Oh shit it is Fullring :? no maybe not because you have very little hands in 6,7,8,9 seat.
I play offsuit 1 gappers OTB, and in LP when there is an 18/11 OTB :P But only when I am first in and only for a raise ffcourse.
I would start to play a little more hands so you will get more action on your good hands. Post flop you look to be predictable and easy to run over by a good player.

Everyone has his own style obv and there is no such thing as the ultimate style. That said I do think if you are going to move up you will have to widen your range.

The better player should win the race. Always.
