Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

I did read the question. I read very well. I did not know the player in question so I said what i re-raise with to make a contribution. On the other thread here I joined, one guy said I should not play the game if I disagreed with him. I have played poker fifty years and it has served me very well, paying for my education and lifestyle.

If you have a pair of tens, you have the best of it against AK, about 53 to 47.

but Johnny, IRock does not have AK, that's only ONE of the hands he may be re-raising with. If I have TT I have to wait for a better spot than this one. At best it's a coin flip, and 1/3 of the time I'm in deep trouble.

That view is the rationale of why some donkeys shove with 33, and they wonder why they are getting killed. They argue that it's a coin flip against AK, but when you point out it's also a coinflip against 54o they feel like a chump.

lol at Johnny. can u say clueless?

But iceman... with TT it is very marginal. I woud fold. I dont think he would push with a wide enough range to make it profitable to continue. W/ JJ it becomse alot tougher. But TT is a fold. WP.

I felt weak folding but I do think it was the right play looking back.
